That's right; Jay Eatz has been pretty slack on the ol' blog lately. I have a few excuses. Excuse #1: Started instructing cooking classes. I have been doing some moonlighting teaching a cooking class or two and guess what? There is some work involved in lesson planning. Oh no, who would have thought? You have to think about the message you're going to deliver to your students, how they can replicate it at home, you're allotted class time and you have to shop for supplies. I am sure they will get easier as time goes on and when I teach the same subject multiple times. I am hoping that my first few classes enjoyed the lessons and the food. Judging by the amount of left over's they did. Reason #2. A trip to Grenada. Trips don't plan themselves (unless you book a tour or deal with a travel agent) so Jay Eatz devoted a few moments researching and planning his latest trip. Guess what? The hard work paid off and an excellent vacation in Grenada was had. Excuses aside, Jay Eatz will be coming back. Expect to see some:

Cooking classes are so much time and effort and I find you also need to know a little acting as you are on stage and have to entertain your students !i tell stories of my childhood and I do keep there attention.

I hear you Teresa, you do need to be on to fill in the gaps between instructions. 43 people is a very large class size, I'm sure the wine loosens up everybody and gets them in the learning spirit.
